The Dark Room: Where Memories Die
Crazed Ballister Bidwell lives in his mind. He suffers from delusional fantasies from a sick childhood and schizophrenia. His mother was insane and died grieving for her freedom in the house. Ballister summons people to his mansion for fun and games on the weekend, searching for a wife. He is heir to a fortune and can live life as he pleases, with the help of servants, who, in the end turn out to be a medical team that tends to him in a hospice facility. His mother forbids him to find another woman to love. It makes him impotent, but nonetheless determined to find a true love before his memory is gone.
